Who:
VisitDenmark is the national tourism organization in Denmark working with international marketing of Denmark as a travel destination. Together with partners they organized The Denmark Pavilion during the Olympics in Paris. The Denmark pavilion was showcasing Danish values, sustainable solutions, technology and business cases to around 75,000 visitors during the Olympic Games.  

What:
Branded SproutWorld pencils on customized cards  

How:
The SproutWorld pencils were distributed to VIP guests and were also part of a board game about sustainable habits and biodiversity. While playing the game, the guests could win a SproutWorld pencil. 

Why:
SproutWorld is a Danish brand that shows how to give new life to a product after use and how to easily start a conversation about sustainable habits 

The story

SproutWorld contributed to confirming Denmark as an innovative and sustainable destination. 

Besides being a case that was exposed in the pavilion, SproutWorld developed a board game that kick-started interesting talks, exchange of points of view and reflections about sustainability and what each one of us can do in our everyday lives to make the world more sustainable.  

 In this way, difficult environmental issues were addressed in a constructive and more “fun” way.  

In Paris, many visitors were hunting free giveaways. SproutWorld gave them more than just another free merchandise: An opportunity to sit down and talk to their family and friends about sustainability and quality of life - and sometimes even to people from other countries and cultures.  

Visitors and business delegations highly appreciated that they could bring home their own SproutWorld pencil.
