SBTi - Science Based Targets

Our Commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

At SproutWorld, sustainability is a core part of our identity, and it’s not just a promise, it’s ameasurable path backed by science. That’s why we joined the Science Based Targetsinitiative (SBTi) in 2022 – a global partnership between CDP, the UN Global Compact,World Resources Institute, and WWF that helps companies set emissions reduction targets grounded in the latest climate science. By aligning our climate goals with SBTi, we ensure our path to Net Zero is both credible and science-driven.

Our targets are designed to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and drive long-term climate action across our operationsand supply chain. In a time where climate accountability is more important than ever, thirdparty verification is critical, and we’re proud to be among the 2,650+ companies with approved SBTi targets.

Our Science-Based Climate Goals
We have committed to the following key milestones:
• 50% reduction in scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2025, using 2021 asthe base year
• 90% total emissions reduction by 2029, as part of our path toward Net Zero
• Measurement and reduction of scope 3 emissions across our value chain
• Annual reporting on KPIs:o Scope 1 & 2: measured as CO₂ equivalent per employeeo Scope 3: measured as a percentage of total turnover
• Activity-based emissions accounting planned for future reporting cycles

We are also committed to becoming Net Zero by 2040, with all goals validated by SBTi.

Embedding SBTi into Our Strategy and Culture
The SBTi framework is fully integrated into SproutWorld’s sustainability strategy, ADD ZERO, which guides how we operate, innovate, and grow responsibly. This approach ensures our SBTi-aligned targets are not standalone commitments, but part of a broader culture of climate accountability and continuous improvement. All employees are informed and involved through ADD ZERO, making sustainability – and especially CO₂ reduction – a shared responsibility across the company. By embedding SBTi principles into our daily decisionmaking, supply chain, and product development, we ensure that climate science drives real, measurable change throughout our business.
