The Webshop
We ship to all countries within the European Union. Countries outside the EU can buy Sprout pencils and makeup pencils on Amazon.
Depending on your location, the delivery time for your order is 1-6 days. Please refer to our Terms of Service for updated shipping information.
Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. You’ll also receive a separate SMS or email from the courier with your expected delivery date/time. At this stage you can choose to have your package delivered to a parcel shop.
Yes, once the package is shipped you can choose to have it left at a parcel shop.
Yes, we deliver all orders from the webshop in carton boxes from FSC certified manufacturers. We also paper tape instead of plastic to reduce our waste.
Sprout Europe ApS offers a 14-day full refund including shipping costs on goods purchased on the webshop. If you wish to return your order, you must inform us no later than 14 days after delivery. Please send an email to [email protected] and we will provide you with instructions. Please note we’re unable to offer refunds on personalized or customized pencils or packaging.

AllergyCertified is an international allergy label. Skin allergy is one of the most common chronic diseases, and it can be prevented by avoiding products that contain allergens. The Sprout makeup liners are made from only natural ingredients and they have been carefully examined by toxicologists at AllergyCertified.
The capsule at the end of the makeup liners contains a mix of wildflowers. Once the seeds germinate (7-12 days), this mix creates a stunning collection of bee-friendly flowers.
The flowers are for decoration only and aren’t to be eaten. It’s strongly advised that the product is kept out of the reach of children.
About Pencils
The SproutWorld pencil is a natural product made of certified wood sourced from responsibly managed forests. Most of the wood utilized is Linden. Additionally, the pencil contains graphite, clay, and a tree bark cellulose capsule (HPMC) with non-GMO seeds. The seeds are not organic. The contents of each capsule consist of a mixture of wood flour and seeds. Each pencil contains 3-10 seeds depending on the seed size. The glue used to attach the capsule to the pencil, is a vegan glue.
No. In fact, it’s a myth that pencils contain lead as lead hasn’t been used in any pencils since Roman times! The SproutWorld pencil is 100% natural and non-toxic. It’s made of certified wood sourced from responsibly managed forests,graphite, clay and non-GMO seeds.
Most definitely! You have the option to personalize SproutWorld pencils on orders from 10 to 400 pencils. Your message will be expertly printed onto your pencils. Personalized pencils make fantastic giveaways at weddings, baby showers and they can also be used as ‘green’ business cards.
Businesses and organizations are able to customize SproutWorld pencils with their logo and message on orders of 500 + plus pencils. You can choose to have your message engraved or color printed (currently only available to businesses in the EU). Packaging options, like our single card or sleeve can be customized with your logo or message.

Yes, you can plant your pencils all year around. They usually require sunlight, so we recommend that you place your pots by a window. How quick your plant will germinate depends on the variety of plant. You can visit our greenhouse for growing instructions for each seed.

That depends on the plant variant. One of our fastest and most popular variants is basil, which germinates between five and ten days after planting. In just two weeks, you can have a pot of fresh basil. Learn more about the different seed types in the SproutWorld greenhouse.
The pencil stub basically functions as a name tag for the seed type of your pencil. It’s 100% biodegradable and will decompose if buried.
No. The pencil stub has absolutely no impact on the new plant.
The SproutWorld pencil is a natural product. We make our pencils out of different wood types, which can vary in tone but even for the same wood type different trees may vary in color. Though the wood tones or colors may vary from order to order, we assure you that the quality is always the same.
All SproutWorld pencils are non-toxic, sustainable and are produced using certified wood from responsibly managed forests The capsule is made from cellulose which is a plant-based material. The capsule contains a bit of wood flour and non-GMO seeds and is completely harmless if ingested – although it won’t taste great!
The product is EN71-3 approved. EN-71 is a safety standard certificate which proves that the SproutWorld pencil is safe and harmless for children. We do recommend keeping pencils away from children aged 0-3 years.
For Business
You can engrave Sprout pencils with any text or logo design when you order a minimum of 500 pencils. The packaging can also be designed with your logo or message. We use Galvo lasers to engrave the design on the Sprout pencils.
Max. height of logo and/or typography is 5 mm. Max. length of logo and/or typography is 115 mm.
Due to the patent, it's not possible to remove neither the seed name nor the Sprout logo on the pencils.
Yes, using UV printing, it is possible to make color prints onto the pencils. It is recommended not to use gradient color palettes for this for most optimal results.
We use EN71-3 approved ink. EN-71 is a safety standard certificate approving the ink is safe and harmless for children. The print is also waterproof and durable.
We print with CMYK to make a wider range of colors possible, however this also means we cannot print pure pantone colors. As such, we do not recommend lighter colors as it may be difficult to see on the wood
