Earlier this year, one of our Sprout team members received an interesting e-mail that became a great collaboration. The e-mail came from Eurelectric.
In 2019, the European Electricity Union, Eurelectric hosted a Power Summit in Florence, Italy for 700 leaders representing the European green energy sector. Among others, over 20 prominent CEOs and over 40 speakers from the EU sustainable power sector attended.
Eurelectric contacted Sprout because they liked our pencil initiative, and they saw great resemblance in the objectives that Sprout was promoting and those of their organization.
Just like Sprout, one of the beliefs at Eurelectric is that a sustainable life starts from small changes in our daily lives. Therefore, Eurolectric wanted to include the Sprout pencils at the Summit as a green giveaway to the guest speakers.
During the Power Summit, the following questions were discussed:
- Who will have the agility and take the responsibility to pave the way to a net zero emissions society?
- Can competition from business disruptors, energy and tech players turn challenges into opportunities?
- Will innovations in generation, storage and e-fuels lead the way?
Sprout is very happy to be present at events like these, where such important matters are being presented and discussed.
A plantable pencil is a strong message and a great green giveaway – even more so, when the setting is about taking sustainable steps for a better future.
