In 2018, cherry tomatoes were sent into orbit aboard a German satellite to test how they grow in moon- and Mars-like gravity. Yes, real space. Zero gravity. Floating seedlings in controlled greenhouses.
That’s not just science — that’s storytelling. Because tomatoes aren’t just tomatoes. They come in yellow, black, white and gold. They’ve travelled from the Andes to Italian gardens, from golden apples to the shelves of modern kitchens.
They’re heritage, colour, curiosity, and resilience – packed into something the size of your thumb. And like good communication, they carry more than you see at first glance. Just like a single message can open minds or move someone to act, a single cherry tomato seed attracts bees, nourishes soil, and adds flavour to life. It starts small – but grows into something living, shareable, and rooted in care.

From outer space
to our new space
If that’s news to you: we’re a Danish company, and we’re located in Copenhagen, Denmark, right in the historic city centre of Frederiksstaden. We’ve just moved from our previous office a bit outside the city, and we’ve now finished settling into our new space. It’s time to start planting and growing our little urban courtyard garden with lush greens and vibrant, sprouting cherry tomatoes.
