Who:
Design Eyewear Group is a Danish company that develops and markets quality eyewear brands that have been sold worldwide by opticians for over 40 years.
What:
Customized half-size cards with an eyeliner and a branded mini pencil.
How:
These were given to customers in 200 shops worldwide. The pencils and eyeliners were also gifted to guests at a party celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Danish brand Prodesign.
Why:
SproutWorld’s plantable pencils and liners were a good symbolic fit to represent celebrating the past but also looking to the future.
The story

For our eyewear brand Prodesign's 50th anniversary event, we gave each of our guests a SproutWorld eyeliner as a small souvenir of the evening.
We wanted to present guests with something that had a dual function and was not just “buy and throw away”. The combination of functionality and the flower seed was an obvious choice to emphasize circularity and foresight.
For our retail store campaign, the pencil and liner were also a good match, as the theme of this campaign was “Danishness”. We chose the daisy seed as it symbolizes Danish summer. We customized the cards with our own logo, and for the 50th anniversary celebration, we added the statement: Celebrate the past. Embrace the future.
